How journal data is handled

Who can see my entries?

Only you. Other people logged in to this site can't see any of your entries.

Does AI read my entries?

Day-to-day, AI does not read your entries. "Today's Tone" and "Patterns" are pure code calculations — no AI involved. The only exception: when you buy a paid report in the future and explicitly tick "reference my journal", AI will read the parts you authorize for that single report — only for that generation, never used for training.

Does the team look at the database?

We don't look. Only if there's a technical issue and you explicitly authorize us, do we ever access your data.

Is delete really delete?

After you delete, it goes to a recycle bin for 30 days in case you change your mind. After 30 days it's truly removed. Backups are kept another 90 days, then gone for good.

How to export?

Go to the Archive tab, click "↓ Export .MD" in the top-right. A Markdown file will download — open it in Notes, Obsidian, Typora, or any text editor.
